Fitzalan Mews is a small enclave of properties situated in Fitzalan Road, which lies just off Queen Street, just south of the river. The Co-Op convenience store, along with all the other shops in the town, is only a short stroll away and the station is also situated nearby, within easy walking distance. This particular house has an entrance hall with storage cupboard and a ground floor cloakroom.
The kitchen has units consisting of various fitted drawers, a fridge/freezer, gas hob and oven below and a washing machine. There is space for a dishwasher. The sitting room is of a very generous size and has a patio door leading out to the charming courtyard garden. There is a useful under stairs cupboard here as well.
Off the landing there are two double bedrooms. The attic has an easy built in loft ladder and there are super views of the castle and cathedral to the north.
Each bedroom has built in wardrobes with plenty of storage and an en – suite bathroom, with showers over the baths. The courtyard garden is a delightful sun trap and is well enclosed by a gate and newly installed fencing. It gives access to the lovely communal garden and in the private courtyard, there is a useful storage “locker”.
The garage is situated to the left of the house, being the middle one and it will house a normal car. There is also parking in front of the garage, along with a guest parking spot in the communal car park to the side of the Mews.
This is only an initial 6 month tenancy, which may then extend but unsure at this stage.
Directions: from the roundabout at the bottom of the High Street, proceed straight over into Queen Street and after a short distance, bear right into Queens Lane and then first right into Fitzalan Road. You will see the house on the left about half way along.
