Moving into her dream bungalow in Climping, near Arundel, means Tracey Taylor can now read a bedtime story to her seven-year-old daughter Poppy.
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) sufferer Tracey, uses a wheelchair and she was struggling to get upstairs in the Yapton house she shared with Poppy and husband Jake.
A quick move was important
Tracey says, “We needed to move to a bungalow as soon as possible because I was no longer able to access some areas of my own home and this was taking its toll on our family life.”
The Taylor’s found the perfect bungalow in nearby Climping which was on the market with independent local estate agents Sims Williams.
“When Pam Bunting from Sims Williams showed us around the bungalow, we knew instantly it was the perfect property for us and we put an offer in on our way home.”
“We needed to sell our house to make it happen so we asked Sims Williams to carry out a valuation. Richard Moores came to see us and he was so friendly and genuine that we signed up with Sims Williams on the spot, and I’m so glad we did,” says Tracey.
Sims Williams secured over 98% of the asking price and the move took just 10 weeks.
Working closely with both parties, Sims Williams agreed an exclusivity period with the bungalow vendor and pulled out all the stops to market and sell the Taylor’s Yapton home.
Members of the Sims Williams sales team accompanied six viewings and the Taylor’s accepted an offer which was over 98% of their asking price.
Within 10 weeks, Tracey, Jake and Poppy were living in their new home and feeling like they’d been there forever.
The move was so speedy and stress-free
“I’m still pinching myself and enjoying the freedom that my new home gives me. I am so grateful to Sims Williams for making our move so speedy and stress-free – they literally took care of every step of the process and every member of the team was so friendly and helpful.”
“This move has literally been life-changing for me and my family and I count my lucky stars that Sims Williams helped make it all happen – they really were on our side,” says Tracey.
Richard Moores, a partner at Sims Williams says, “Our whole team appreciated how important this move was for Tracey and her family and I’m delighted we were able to secure a good price for both the vendor and the Taylor’s.”
