Sims Williams helped Walberton Cricket Club celebrate its 150th Anniversary by sponsoring the team when they played the legendary Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC).
The team looked great with the Sims Williams logo on their shirts and the weather was beautiful for their game at Walberton Playing Fields in the heart of the village.
It is 150 years since Walberton Cricket Club played the first recorded match in Walberton Village and the historic fixture against Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) was the perfect way to mark this landmark anniversary.
Walberton CC Captain Peter Brackley says, “It was a great day for Walberton Cricket Club and the village, and we are grateful to Sims Williams estate agents for their support and very pleased with our new shirts.”
Sims Williams is one of the area’s leading independent estate agents and has an office in the heart of Walberton, a picturesque village in the West Sussex countryside, along with further offices in Chichester and Arundel.
Partner Richard Moores says supporting the local community has always been important to Sims Williams. “We are a truly local business and many of our property consultants live locally with their families. It is great to support local events and community groups and play our part in making this area such a fantastic place to live,” he said.
